I lived at the Harper for almost a year and a half, and I highly recommend it! I only left because I moved out of state. I rented a two bedroom/one bath that was in a corner on the 5th floor. The apartment was SO quiet - and the views looking South over Mac Groveland were unbeatable. The apartment quality and nice finishes are what is reflected in pictures online. The kitchen is a little small, especially if you have a lot of kitchen equipment. There is also hardly any overhead lighting, but there are outlets connected to the light switches! The closets are huge. And I loved having in-unit laundry. The property management company staff are awesome. Very caring and responsive. My dog loved stopping by the front desk for cookies and he always got tons of love and attention from staff. I h
I see a lot of the reviews are old here, so I feel like some more contextual updates are needed. I’ve lived here for almost two years. I like the neighbors here, people (who actually live here) are really nice and we are all considerate of each other. There is a nice gym and common areas, but unfortunately, they’re not reserved just for residents, and any random person that rents a co-working space gets to have access to it all. This has created some weird situations. Something to note - when they say they professionally clean each apartment in between tenants, that only means they pay people to do it. When I moved in, there was grease on my cabinets, hair in my bathroom tiles, and everything was a bit dirty. I did a deep clean, and then settled in. I complained about this and they offer
I love living at Harper! The building is beautiful and spotless. The neighborhood is quaint. And there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Management and Harper staff absolutely foster an inclusive, welcoming, friendly, and social community - which makes this a warm and inviting place to live. My only concerns would be that Harper doesn’t enforce the dog poop pick up rule (so sometimes there are little reminders scattered through the grass that this is a dog-friendly community). And maintenance is sometimes slow to fix a problem at its source. But quick to respond if a maintenance problem continues. Every place is going to have it’s quirks. And Harper’s positives far exceed any small concerns. I love it here! And I don’t plan to move anytime soon. Thank you
I have lived here since August 2020 and have loved my experience living in this property. The employees in the building are constantly doing what they can to assist any request I may have. The building includes so many amenities like study spaces, a gym, coffee machine, and events. The building is well-kept and is in a great location near many amazing restaurants and shops. It is also a great place for students to live because of its close proximity to the various universities. The apartment layouts are also the best I've seen in this area and I love the amount of space I have in my unit. The unit also contains tons of modern appliances that make life much easier.
My only daughter KG moved in a few months ago. As a parent, I am so impressed with the management team and their responsiveness. Also, security is a major concern for me, and the complex is very secure. The combination of these two important factors really helps put our minds at ease. The building is also very pet friendly which is another strong positive at this apartment community. Looking forward to summer to use the beautiful secure sun deck and pool. Excellent location a Whole Foods and other restaurants and shopping boutiques within the block. All in all a great value for this beautiful new apartment complex!
