Sasha Baez told my realtor that because I submitted complaints regarding their FHA guideline violations that my application was closed and void which was not the case & which is illegal because of “retaliation” extremely unprofessional and sucks at communication. When they could not accept the child support income, I was OK with that. She could not provide me documentation on the denial of that income and what FHA guideline the lender was using to deny that income. She told me that she can increase the loan amount and send me a denial For the increased loan amount . Do not use them if you’re in a flood zone or at risk of flood damage. Our home flooded during Hurricane Helene and our insurance company has provided the money, but Guild Mortgage now holds it hostage. They require work to be done before releasing funds, as if everyone has hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash available to fix their homes after a disaster. We are fortunate to have cash at hand to have progressed on our rebuild and are moving back into our house next week, and they’re still holding the remainder of our insurance money as if we haven’t proved the work is basically done. Absolute crooks. Most frustrating people we’ve dealt with during this stressful and very expensive experience.

What this company lacks in integrity they make up for in incompetence... I'm only posting now given the latest but let me run you through my experience.. It all started with this company not following up on anything, constantly getting information incorrect, including emailing my personal and private information (think of the most secure information needed to apply for a mortgage) to some random person's email address! We had to get on the phone with their executives to sort through the mess. Fast forward to now and our insurance payments are paid as part of our monthly mortgage payments for Guild to pay my insurer (standard option, right?).
