Greens at Avenel

I usually don't make a review but I was so annoyed that I feel compelled to. I have been living here for a couple of months. My main complaints are men who are constantly harassing women and even when they are told to stop, they continue. I also have issue with the smoking that happens when people walk into the apartment. The police are always here because of these same men who smoke and harass other women. I don't really feel as safe as I should be when living in an apartment complex. I really hope that management gets to the bottom of all of this soon. Overall I really don't recommend the place.

I will try to make this review short and sweet but there's going to be much to talk about. Firstly, like many others, I have been here since the beginning. During my time here, there have been things that I have been unhappy with and that I feel aren't being properly addressed. 1) Residents harassing people passing by and trying to flirt with them: - This has happened to me many times, and I've tried to ignore it. These residents including those who have special needs constantly sit in the hallways unattended for hours a day. While my mom was picking me up, one of these residents tried to get into my mother's car, making her uncomfortable. These people are also arguing, fighting, and violent. It has gotten to the point where I had to carry pepper spray because I am so uncomfortable walkin

This will be a long review. There's a lot to unpack. I’ve lived in this building since it first opened and was one of the original tenants, but I’ve watched it decline significantly over the years. Despite several changes in staff, issues are consistently neglected and unresolved. The only positive aspects are the spacious apartments, the convenience of a laundry room on the same floor, the gym, and the relatively affordable price. However, these advantages don’t make up for the ongoing problems. I’ve dealt with stolen packages and witnessed residents allowing their dogs to relieve themselves in the lobby, elevators, and near the entrance without cleaning up. Edit: It looks like they have new management that is friendlier. There are less strange people roaming the halls, and also less people standing directly outside the front door smoking. Not all the way better but I appreciate the improvement and effort! This apartment itself inside is nice and spacious. However! I am terrified of living here. There are always people outside as stated before and if you are a female you will get harassed. A lot of not mentally sane people that should not be mixed with others walking around or standing around. The women in the office always has an attitude. The corporate office women does not care about your living conditions. Your mail may very possibly be stolen. It’s very unfortunate because like I said it’s nice inside but it is not safe for everyone.

It's people parking in my grandmother parking spot and people stealing packages today 2 car stole two parking spaces.
