BEWARE – Think twice before renting at Gradient Apartments! Gradient Apartments truly does not care about its residents. Since Molly became the property manager, the complex has gone downhill fast. She is incredibly unempathetic and lacks basic people skills, which is something you cannot afford to lack when managing people’s homes. Every single long-term resident we’ve spoken to has said the same thing: things were significantly better before her arrival, and she has only made the complex worse. We deeply miss John (the former assistant property manager) and Nolan (the previous property manager). They were professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about residents. Since then, the turnover in the leasing office has been alarming—one assistant property manager didn’t even last a month

The snow removal here is pathetic the company they hire doesn’t have a plow, we’ve had a work order for a new window for 2 years and our front door has insane drafts. Highly recommend living elsewhere. The property was not finished within 24 hours. That is a lie I had to take PTO. Thanks.

I’ve been living here for 3 years now at the Townhomes and I have to say overall I am very satisfied. With only having one major complaint. The assistant manager John has been nothing short of amazing and so has everyone else in the office. Maintance is always available and responds super fast. If they cant fix it they bring someone else out ASAP and deal with it. I recently had an issue with one of the bushes in front of my door attracting Wasps ( and I have two toddlers ) and they immediately removed the bush. My one complaint was that my cousin came to visit and drop off a birthday present for my son in the afternoon. Parked in the visitor parking for 45 minutes and was towed all before 8pm. At the time we needed visitor parking passes but the office closes as 5pm so that was not pos

My partner and I just moved in last month. I’ve lived in two other places in Weymouth and so far this has been our best experience. Everyone is super friendly, maintenance is great, the building is new, and area is super walkable. The only slight issue I have is door slamming in the apartments. The noise canceling is fantastic other than what you can hear in the hallways. You could install rubber door silencers which are super cheap but I guess no one else in the buildings has brought this issue up. Regardless we’re loving our new place and looking forward to more time here.

EDIT IN RESPONSE: I was never able to get ahold of the health department and played phone tag with them. As I am about to move out, I inevitably gave up. Management did not conclude that this was mold because they never tested for it. Their sole advice was to dry the sink after every use. After the uncomfortable, threatening, and retaliatory behavior, I did not allow them back in my apartment. The pictures clearly show mold growth. - I would caution anyone considering moving into Gradient to look elsewhere. I experienced neighbor issues, mold, and multiple negative interactions with staff. The apartments are overpriced for the South Shore area, and no utilities are included besides trash. There are trash chutes on every floor, but they’re frequently broken/locked.
