FlynnBuilt

We had our Flynn Built home constructed and moved in during 2022. Within the first year, we experienced significant septic issues that required a large portion of the septic system to be replaced. Fortunately, this repair was covered under the warranty. Unfortunately, we later discovered another critical issue, not but 3 years after moving in, now with the HVAC system after the warranty period had ended. We are now dealing with mold in the HVAC intake closet and in several vents throughout the home. These are two major and essential systems in any home, and it has been frustrating to encounter such serious issues so soon after moving into a newly built house. When we had an HVAC technician come out to assess the problem, he even commented on concerns with how the ductwork was installed.

We bought our home while living in NC. Jessica was amazing and very timely in all responses. Rod Stephens did amazing work on the home, and performed all touch ups himself approximately 1.5 weeks after closing. (We closed 12/23) This was the best home buying experience we’ve ever had. It was nice to have a group of competent people who take pride in their work assist us in building our forever home!

Loved our experience with realtor Jessica Wallace & superintendent Rod Stephens. We just moved in a couple days ago and absolutely love our new FlynnBuilt home! Jessica went out of her way to facilitate our long distance building experience across the state & updated us on the progress of our house via FaceTime & phone. We purchased our house just over a year ago. This was our first new build. My advice to new buyers is to walk it in detail!! Take pictures of everything that needs to be fixed before closing!! Things we pointed out were not taken care of! Check all of your appliances and windows!! Our project manager told us after we moved in to create a punch list of things we find and wait till we get closer to the year warranty to notify warranty so all things could be taken care of at one time! When we did this warranty blamed us for the damage!! My big picture window is full of scratches!! How you scratch glass is beyond me. The window in my front door was also scratched. They did replace that glass but never painted the window frame to match the door color! My microwave control panel was full of sc

This is our 3rd home purchase and first time buying with Flynn Built. Flynn is by far the best builder we’ve dealt with! Not only were the walk through’s very detailed, personal, and easy but the craftsmanship of the home itself was perfection! Through the build of our home, Jessica regularly stayed in contact with us, providing weekly pictures and updates on the progression of our home. With minor issues, the builder immediately made our changes without question. And we cannot express how easy this process was. We even closed a few weeks ahead of schedule!
