Fairwind-Oakfield Apartments

I thought management was bad when this place was owned by Darby… it is absolutely suspect and unacceptable now with Shannon as Manager and AMC as the “owner”. They not only neglect apartments (and I see on another review that they’re CHARING TENANTS FOR DECADE OLD BUILDINGS THAT ARE FALLING APAR) but then blatantly don’t do their job in the office and ignore not only the maintenance request texts, they ignore calls or conversations that had taken place on call, AND emails. I lived there for two years and my dishwasher was broken for almost all of it. It got to the point where a new maintenance guy was like I think they need to call a plumber. The dishwasher not only leaked through to the apartment below me, it caused BLACK MOLD to grow all under my sink and that spread across the entire ap

I just moved out but Don’t come here unless u want to step/smell in Dog shit every day ,kids throwing rocks at windows/cars..mold,rats and roaches, are infested, trash everywhere,terrible management,fights break out most of the time and if u don’t like police they be walking around trying to start stuff out of nowhere and I’m pretty sure they finna go up on rent too

I spoke with Cindy Murrian on 11/30 and she made me an appointment to sign release forms 11/31. She called me 9:00 am on 11/31 She was very rude and disrespectful telling me she cancelled my appointment because she went in my public record and saw I had previous evictions. I was confused because she told me she checked my credit and I had more positive accounts than negative accounts, and that they are privately owned and have different criteria's. She also went as far as printing out my previous evictions from the public records and sent them to my house, she highlighted each one like she was trying to make me make me look bad. Just want her to know that that doesn't paint a picture of me nor does her personal opinion matter. I pray for her because she has no right to do something like t

For a housing property the one bedroom floor plan is not all THAT bad BUT the landlords are rude and annoying!!! They treat their tenants with no respect, they do not make you feel at home! They will constantly post notice after notice on your front door for you to come into the office, finding any reason to evict you. The landlords will charge YOU for repairs that is needed to done or deduct the charges out of your security deposit when you move out!!! Also not to mention a REQUIRED inspection of your home every 3 months now that's ridiculous😒the crime rate in the area is still high and the apartment complex is still drug infested😡I'll only recommend this place if you're a drug addict with a good rental history or homeless and do not want to live in a shelter!

Darby needs to be made aware of the activities management has going on. For one the funding housing gives them isn't being used to repair the apartments. Instead management constantly sends tenants maintenance bills. I've been harrassed regarding maintenance bills for damage that has been building up for years. Multiple people work in the office and I'm not sure if they don't know what Miles has been doing to the tenants or if they know but choose to act blind. This man constantly harrasses the tenants. Maintenance isnt any better. Especially when it comes down to the woman. Miles constantly tries to intimidate the tenants (woman) and threatens with evictions so no one will speak up. He is very disrespectful and biggity. Tenants have rules to follow but management can do whatever they wan
