Fairfield At Ronkonkoma

I was very happy with the services provided when I first moved here however there have been issues since. The washing machine that came with the apartment broke 8 months into our lease and fairfield management has done absolutely nothing to fix it. I have called several times and left many service requests. 4 months have now passed and our washing machine is still broken. Fairfield management has take zero initiative in resolving this issue and refused to replace our washer. I have to call over and over again and nothing is ever fixed. I leave service requests and they completely ignore them. At this point I can not trust fairfield management to do there job. They obviously do not care about their residents

I’m writing this on behalf of my father who has lived here for almost 3 years. He’s had multiple break ins in his cars parked in the parking lot where there used to be security before Covid. That stopped around June of 2020. He still pays the service fee for it though. The walls are paper thin He can clean as day hear the neighbors dog parking from his bedroom 24/7 because they’re almost never home to make it stop, the landlord will do nothing about it. Paying almost $4,000 (not including utilities) a month, the parking lot almost always smells like sewage. There are loose bricks in the walkways that if you weren’t looking down you’d most definitely trip over them. Lawsuit waiting to happen. Even when living there, problems with the apartment rarely ever were addressed/fixed and often took multiple communications. On leaving our apartment, we stucko'd the walls, cleaned everything, nothing was left damaged/broken. Has been 7 months since we moved out, not a single penny from our Security Deposit despite numerous attempts to call Management including the point person for the property, Ricky. We have requested receipts, charges, any explanation where our 1000$ went and have not got a response. We lived there for 2 years.

This entire company is running a scam. I had a letter placed in my door on October 17th, dated oct 8th saying I had 30 days to reply to a renewal of lease or I would not get my security back. I called and emailed that day because these dates were a contradiction. I was assured by the property manager Ricky that I would get my deposit back. Almost 90 days later I still have not rec’d my deposit. I called the main office and spoke with Erin who told me I would not be getting my deposit back because I failed to reply within 30 days, I told her how I had a string of emails from the 17th of October when I first received the letter and then she actually hung up on me! DO NOT RENT HERE! The management, leasing and maintenance team are horrible. If you have something wrong in your unit do not expect to get it fixed while you are living there - but expect to end up paying for it out of your security deposit. Don't expect to see any of your security deposit back! It is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone if you have an issue and if you are able to talk to someone there is a 99% chance that they are not telling the truth. Make sure all claims and conversations are only in writing because they go back on their word. Ended up getting charged an extra months rent after moving out on time because they needed time to fix and rent the unit after our term.
