I’ve rented before in the past and had some not so great experiences, and already, even in the prior move-in phase, my experience has been excellent. I've rented from countless property managers (both solo private landlords and rental companies) and Dwell was the best experience I've ever had. They never raised my rent and were very responsive about maintenance issues. I recommend Dwell to anyone looking for an affordable rental in Birmingham. I only moved out because I bought a house. Great management that responds quickly and when you need them. Apartments are nice overall and fit the price you pay. Maintenance is lovely and does their job efficiently.

This is the best rental experience I've had of any of the states I've lived in. Quick response to maintenance, extremely clean and well maintained unit. Communication is excellent and you can tell everyone here cares very much about their tenants. I would stay with them forever if I wasn't moving out of state. 10/5 stars

Updated: Alicia has still been very helpful and friendly! I had terrible luck going to view apartments the first time but they fixed the door lock issues and the apartments are true to their pictures online. All of the apartments I toured were very clean and well cared for - no glaring issues. They ranged from charming/practical with older fixtures to very newly renovated with high end appliances, fancy tile/backsplash, and remote controlled fans/lights. I like that the apartments are on quiet streets and tend to be smaller buildings with only a few other residents. Also, the pet policy can’t be beat - no breed restrictions! One of the units even has a dog run area. Overall, the pricing is very fair for Birmingham. They are super transparent on their fees and deposits. There are n
