Drivers License Bureau

Pretty quick. Had to get vision test for license renewal. I was able to walk in without an appointment. I was in/out in about 30 minutes with 5 people in front of me. Just a bit annoying I had to drive 45 minutes each way to avoid dealing with my local DMV in Dekalb which is appointment only and books up within minutes at 6:30am.

On Friday Feb 12 I drove from Rochelle to Oregon only to find the DMV closed for Lincoln's Birthday, even though the website said they were open. So the website is worse than useless as they either can't change it to reflect when they are open or are too lazy to make it accurate..

This DMV is hit or miss as far as time it will take . 1st time very quick . 2nd time a few hours . 2nd time staff was taking people out of order then the numbers we were given . It was a little frustrating . staff was helpful once we got to the counter .

this perhaps the best DMV in the state. always a bad experience at others not here they're polite helpful, and I can't say enough

My husband and I spent almost 2 hrs at this DMV today. It was very busy. The staff was respectful and courteous and patient under challenging circumstances. We appreciated their assistance to renew my husband’s license.
