Purchased a Dragus new construction home over a year ago. Yes the selling staff is great and ready to answer any questions. The issue lies with the companies they contract to build the home. Poor craftsmanship to say the least. A new construction home after 1 year we had to completely fix the AC unit in the attic bc it turned out it was improperly installed and miss wired.. AC broke down during the heat wave this year, called the warranty company that installed it and every time they came to the house we ended up having a new issue wrong with the AC such as heat coming out at 9pm after the 3rd guy had come.. After the third time we decided to pay out-of-pocket to an outside HVAC company that told us that the AC system was improperly installed, and they had rewired everything wrong. A lot o

Bought a brand new house from Dragas. The build quality is abysmal and it’s clear the company relies on cheap unlicensed labor. In less then two years most of the major appliances have broken from the AC, to the dish washer, and microwave. We have had plumbing issues since moving in. All of the sealant around the shower has had to be replaced. I could go on but the point is that almost everything has broken in a brand new house despite us taking meticulous care of it. Furthermore the association fees are a downright rip-off and the customer service / value you get for your money are terrible. I’ve owned a lot of homes throughout the U.S. and this is the only builder that’s ever made me feel compelled to go on the internet and warn people against purchasing.

I think Dragas did a good job compared to other similar companies. They are attentive and will actually call you back. Their construction is good. When inspecting your new Dragas home, play close attention to the details! No major issues but the details are sometimes less than desired. If you catch something, they will see that it’s corrected. I would work with them in the future but be more involved from the beginning to ensure a higher quality build overall.

I very much appreciate the neighborhood and the design of the house. Lived in it for over 2 years. Ultimately, though, I would recommend against buying a new home with Dragas. The warranty repair administration and customer was very very poor. Missed appointments, loss of paperwork, badgering them to finish all the repairs, lack of tracking to ensure proactive follow-up (homeowners had to badger and badger and provide same documentation already provided). They do put the houses up fast so there are definitely quality problems, but overall still like the house. The house seems sealed well overall as utilities are very reasonable. Company itself has very poor customer service. Recommend against using them for your homebuilding or leasing needs.

I just moved in two weeks ago and already want out. Things that are under warranty, they are not willing to fix. I have a problem with a lack of or fallen insulation in my walls. I can hear the refrigerant in the wall running when I walk into the bedroom Should be covered by warranty correct? The tech they sent out to inspecti it said they will have to tear up the drywall and it may not match my home when they fix it, so it is not covered by warranty. What? Why does it matter to them what my wall looks like.Buyer beware. I have only interacted with one person who was competent. The handling of my loan was sloppy, and the on site agents gave me misinformation multiple times during the process. Ended up hiring an electrician before I moved in my new construction condo because I didn't know a
