Douglas Park Apartments

Lived here for over 2 years and haven't had any major issues besides my toilet clogging up or simple maintenance issues that happen in any apartment or house overtime. Maintenance is very busy but comes and fixes the issue within a timely matter. They come spray mandatory for pests every month however I have never seen a roach or mouse in my apartment. My car has not been messed with and there are cameras all over the complex and I like that extra feeling of security. Most of my neighbors are foreign so they really mind their business and don't cause problems. There is always young children playing outside freely and having fun. The police barely ever show up here, I don't feel like it's a unsafe high crime area like I've heard. At nighttime it's so quiet and peaceful. I have no complaints

Previous mgt had the nerve to blame new tenants for mice infestation 🙄, Under New mgt, they are trying to clean things up but tbh they inherited a pure dump. This entire apt complex is INFESTED with Mice. I am not exaggerating. I have killed over 50 mice. I use to keep a 20 gallon bucket outside for the dead mice. Previous mgt was awful. They need to demolish the entire complex and rebuild. It's a shame some of these people have no choice but to live here or the streets. Government subsidy still paying this company is beyond crazy to me. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

This place is so horrible to live I don’t know where to start. How about the RAT INFESTATION that they literally don’t care to do anything about. These rats are going into residents homes which is so sad. Or how about the NON-EXSISTENT MAINTENANCE DEPT good luck getting anything fixed in your apt if you decide to move here. THE GROUNDS are constantly FULL OF TRASH that hardly ever gets cleaned up. Also many apts here are FULL OF MOLD. (you’ll just have to live with it) It’s a normal thing to hear gun shots and/or whiteness crime taking place here. Teenagers gather in large crowds and often promote gang activity. the LAST place you want to live is here! They need to be shut down ASAP proper inspection needs to be done on this place. Rodent infestation, unfinished maintenance work, and unprofessional workers. If you can take your hard earned money elsewhere!!
