Deer Creek Apartments

The property itself has decent amenities on paper, but the management/ upkeep make it difficult to fully enjoy. Maintenance was 4/10 on frustrations. We were told to submit issues through the resident portal, which I was fine with, but 8 out of 10 times nobody ever followed up to confirm if they received the request. It often felt like problems just disappeared into the system. The maintenance guys r super nice, fast & kind. Downfall they just don’t email back or call when can they possibly stop by to fix the issue. The office staff was rarely accessible. 1 of main frustration 8/10 upsetting. The front doors were constantly locked, phone calls went unanswered, & they mostly stayed hidden in the office. They advertise that residents can use the lobby/ TV area, but it’s always locked unles

I wrote a review a year ago. Still live here. Still love it. Staff is incredible, so friendly, I love stopping by the office. My puppies love stopping also. Always treats from the staff. The neighborhood in general is amazing people. I won't say there is never issues, a fire scare was pretty awful. But again neighbors put it out, staff was very understanding. My kids love the pool and play area. I feel like their safe to go and play. School districts are AMAZING. love woodland, and ballou is great as well.

Deer Creek was referred to us by someone that live there . When we visited, we liked everything we saw . Stacey was very nice and explained everything that we needed to know . When we got back to our hotel , we started reading the reviews and got scared about what people were saying. We called Stacey back the next day and told her about our concerns and to cancel our application. She made us aware that most of the problems have been resolved so we decided to give it a try . The gate closes so far! This is my Update after a 1 year of hell Everything was great at start until the gate stops working again and this time for a long period of time! After schools were closed our neighbors above us let their kids stay up , jumping , playing and screaming until 3AM almost every night . We complain

Maintenance is always so quick to help with any issues big or small, when we first moved in there was unfortunately quite a long list of things that needed to be fixed, but maintenance got us in tip top shape in less than a week, and anything else that pops up they are always so kind to come next day and get it taken care of ! Everyone seems to treat the recycling as their own personal trash bin that's closer than the one at the gate, which is disheartening. The gate usually works, I haven't gotten stuck for more than a few minutes, and the one time it wouldn't open to leave, we had run out and put in a code on the other side to get it to open. Recently it just seems to be left open 24/7. Leasing office seems to be a little MIA most of the time, about a 50% chance of actually catching t

I have been here going on 12 years. Through this time I have felt safe and comfortable here. Pleasant people in the office that remember my name is very nice.They try very hard to keep the outside clean and well kept. Very happy here.
