Cypress Village Apartments

Beware of looking to rent from this property. I am giving you the Red Flag warning of not wasting your time with these people. The manager office staff have the nerves to always ask the residents to be patient with them of not knowing anything or resolving the issues of getting anything fixed. The maintenance guys, Lawd, bless their souls.. they come into your home smelling like weed. Not license carpenter at all, very limited on what they can do. They have had a lot of people to move out because their lack of commitment and breach of the contract, but they are quick to uphold you on your end of the contract of paying rent. Now they are trying to force people to use their credit card site to make more money, stating they will not take anymore in house payments. Here it is people apartments

This place is similar to the government projects. Maintenance doesn't follow up to complete task or resolve issues. Holes in bathtub, water damage (mold) behind walls that causes health hazards. Water has set in my dishwasher for over 2 months and they swear they've ordered a replacement. The dispelling of fumes and the production of gnats/drain bugs. They drag their foot and have plenty of excuses. Boards are over the windows and doors of vacant units looking like a ghetto. Old cars sit on the properties looking like a auto cemetery but rent has increase tremendously.

I contemplated for a while if I wanted to express the disdain I have with this apartment complex surrounding everything that you’ve read in prior reviews in addition to my ow personal experience here. I stayed at this apartment complex since prior to Covid, I had not planned to move, however it was forced to due to the deteriorating environment we were being forced to live in, prior to Avaz we had a great maintenance team and the property overall was well maintained. Now tenants are stressed and unhappy do to the many changes, this daunting situation has left many of us stressed as we navigate departing, which I have already done. Save yourself the hassle and stress …DON’T MOVE in and if you can leave MOVE OUT… would leave zero stars if I could

PLEASE DON'T MOVE HERE ! I been here for 6 years and I absolutely LOVED IT HERE but now.......Throw the whole apartment complex away, this place is garbage starting from the management to the new owners or management company (Avaz) now we have a new company managing the complex as of January 2026 named LOFT Living but in the next they sent out to introduce themselves, it says Aurox Equities, I'm confused but, they sent out a email Oct.29 telling us we can't have barbecue grills on the balconies which make since because it can start a fire, then we get another email Dec.11 saying we can't have barbecue grills on the balconies and patios it's a Bridgeton ordinance, but not on a patio with open space and nothing is above you but air🤦🏽‍♀ so I called the city of Bridgeton, the fire marshal and

Been living here since 2017 and since the new property management company came in within the last year, everything has gone down the drain. Nothing is getting fixed. The pools did not open this summer. Our lights on the outside and inside of our building are off and have been for 3 months now. We got a shut off notice from the water company (keep in mind that water is included with the rent). Our ac unit cannot keep our apartment cool durning the day so inside it’s around 85 degrees. The trash is just piling up. The grass is just under knee high. We’ve been told that they are not paying their bills like they should and was also told they were not going to take in new residency. There is a lot of safety concerns and violations. I would had recommend this place in the past but NOT now.
