Crestwood Apartments

This is a fine place to live! The apartment is spacious, neighbors are friendly, service is warm and friendly, and all is well. Too bad the rent has to be so high.

I lived here for a year and, despite the high rent, the experience was full of frustration and mismanagement. When we moved in, two of us were on the lease, but we were only given one key fob — and it didn’t even work. We were told we needed to purchase a second one (which we did), but we never received it, and they never replaced the broken one. We also payed $40/month for a valet trash service, which we couldn’t even use for the first six months because they failed to give us the trash can required for pickup. Once we could use it, the service itself was unprofessional — trash was collected using a stolen HomeGoods shopping cart. And this service couldn’t be canceled. An honest review from a previous employer of Friedman Realty Group. Crestwood apartments is by far the best community within the Wayne, PA portfolio. High ceilings, new renovations, a balcony and plenty of sunlight make these apartments warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the community manager and leasing team will not be able to help you when it comes to finding a parking space. Just read the other reviews. Crestwood does not have enough parking spaces for all of the residents, and this includes the carports. It's guaranteed that you will either be fined, towed, forced to pay $50/month for parking or forced to park very far away. Additionally, there is still a slight rodent problem within this community. Recently toured the place. I think the previous reviews were complaining about parking spaces due to renovations. Honestly the leasing staff was really great, they answered all my questions and were super accommodating. The place looks lovely, its in a great area and compared some of the apartments in Philly, or even quite frankly, some in the area -- given the amenities, space, and location I think this place is definitely reasonably priced. Fingers crossed on the move-in and lived in experience. Will only update if there is something that would cause a retraction of this positive review. 1/12/2024 for reference.

There are not enough parking spots for the number of apartments. Except for the completely open section of parking that they use to extort more money from tenants. If the lot is full and you park where you aren't supposed to, you can pick your car up at the tow lot by the airport 20 miles away. E-mail from the management: "We wanted to reach out to discuss the issue of parking at Crestwood. As the building is filling up, we anticipate that the parking will be a little more difficult. As you are aware, parking is a first come first serve basis, which is why we offer the covered carports for a monthly fee. That parking spot would be a guaranteed spot for you each day/night. At no time is anyone allowed to park on the sides of the driveway of the building. If you do, your car will be towe
