Grace, Jayne, and Jay in the leasing office have been incredibly helpful throughout my move-in process. Jayne in particular has helped me since the very beginning. Always friendly, willing to help, and has consistently checked in with me as I’ve settled in! The complex is clean, well-maintained, and has so many inviting sitting areas for friends and family to visit. The amenities—pool, jacuzzi, sky lounge, and workout room—are amazing! Work orders are also handled very promptly; both work orders I submitted were completed the same day. Overall, it’s been an amazing experience so far with a very friendly staff who truly make you feel at home. UPDATED REVIEW: Unfortunately the pool and spa were both drained and covered within two weeks of my move in. :( This was not communicated to me durin
As a current tenant of two years, I hate that I have to write this but enough is enough. Cortland Powers North is NOT a place I can recommend anyone move too. I moved here when their phase 2 had just opened and to see this community be completely destroyed by corporate greed is impossible to ignore. The valet rash - Used to be a huge perk! Now its nothing but a nightmare. You are REQUITRED to pay for it, and God forbid your trash doesn't meet the standards. You'll get fined. Then to add that they don't take the trash out on the weekends so the halls smell all the time. Used to be taken out daily and there was never a problem. But Cortland moved to their internal trash service and it all went to crap. The grounds are CONSTANLY disgusting. Constanly full of trash, dog droppings, animal pi
We've been here since Phase II first opened. It's sad that this place has become so greedy. When we renewed our lease last year they started charging an extra $7 a month just for parking. When we first moved in the trash was collected 7 days a week and now it's only 5 days a week yet we pay the same amount for trash valet. Now they took away the year round pool/spa. Our neighbors constantly blast their TV. We definitely won't be renewing our lease for a third year. I will say the leasing office staff and maintenance crew are the nicest and most helpful people we've ever had in an apartment complex.
I lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years with almost zero issues. The management team is great and very friendly, the maintenance team is quick to respond to requests and will come by same day to fix anything, and the cleaning crew is always efficient. The best and worst thing about this place and reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars are the people. The best thing - I made some very good friends in this neighborhood due to community events and amenities. The worst thing - some of the irresponsible people with dogs ruin this place. There are 2 dog parks, and almost every time I’ve visited them with my dogs, there are piles of poop everywhere and nothing is ever done to hold those people responsible. Cortland corporate (or whoever is in charge of this decision) needs to place cameras n
I was a previous tenant at Cortland Powers North, and my experience was mixed. Pros: • Great coffee & tea in the common area. • The area felt secure and I could leave my bike outside without worry. • No incidents of vandalism while I lived there. • The gym was decent and functional. • Convenient location near many shops. • Sidewalks were always clean. • Spacious apartments and good views and lighting on most • Maintenance is fast at fixing issues. Cons: • Parking is a mess. Stickers aren’t enforced, and many cars with expired tags just sit there. Not enough space for tenants. • Hallways inside the buildings are consistently dirty. • Walls are extremely thin…you’ll hear everything. • Management lacks professionalism. I had a terrible experience being falsely and offensively accused af
