Our experience with Grace Perez was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. She tried to claim that only one month’s security deposit was paid, when the signed lease clearly stated it was one and a half months. Thankfully, we had documentation to prove it, but the fact that we even had to argue this point raises red flags. What’s even more concerning is that she was the one handling all of this, not the actual property owner. Realtors typically don’t manage security deposits, that’s the landlord’s responsibility. The fact that she was acting as the middleman, making demands, and controlling the process felt very shady and inappropriate. ZERO STARS !!!!! Grace Perez was so unprofessional!!! U would think prior to an apartment showing if there is paperwork that needs to be filled out they will send it beforehand so, the tenant can review it, nope she handed me a 4 pages form in front of the apartment with SOMEONE else NAME on it and scratched there name off. She expected me to sign it and said if I don't sign it I can't see the apartment. Then I questioned her on some of the info on the form and she said that's not what we mean but it clearly states that on the form. I told her I'm not signing it and I will see the apartment with someone else. I will be contacting the company to report her.

Sharry Friedberg casually dismisses COVID disclosure or contact tracing procedures. She did not get any paperwork signed (every other agent I worked with that day did follow procedures). I’m not talking about small little things either... there was a clear indication that was disturbing and it was the way she dismissed COVID procedures was almost as if she doesn’t believe COVID exists. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

Just want to give a shout out to Nichol DeGruccio at the Hillsdale office. She was a true professional from the moment we met. Her handwritten note acknowledging our visit to one of her open houses really impressed me and prompted me to call her for help with our home search. As out of town buyers we really needed eyes, ears and know-how in this unfamiliar real estate market. Nichol was so helpful, encouraging and positive and made a very difficult time in our lives bearable. Her unwavering support and tireless efforts were exactly what we needed. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) after many hours days and months logged house searching , we have decided to stay put in our present home. The rudest front desk-Sarah I have ever experienced. If you have any problems ask to be transferred to someone else. They need to replace the front desk for sure. I would put zero stars if I could.
