Cimarron Apartments

These apartments are great, the rent is reasonable, and Xena is always doing her best to keep things in order, if not for her tenants than for the entire community. Ramon, and the maintenance team keep on top of things as well. The apartments are also amazing when it comes to kids, welcoming, and the events they have are always such a blast. If I could leave more stars I definitely would.

I have never moved anywhere so coming to Canyon was scary. When I first came to Cimarron apartment I immediately felt like part of the family. It’s so peaceful and now being here going on three years I’ve never had an issue. If I need maintenance they respond very quickly and kindly. The property manager Xena is so sweet and really made the move less scary. Highly recommend!

If I could give no stars I would…. My faucet in my bathtub was leaking and maintenance came to fix it. However, they broke the faucet off of the wall and flooded my apartment (October 19, 2023). They gave me a measly $15 to compensate me for the inconvenience. I had to pay for my own hotel room in that time. They offered me another room once, but when I enquired how to get access to it multiple times I was blatantly ignored. If you live in 405 don’t be surprised if it smells musty and you have mold! It smelled musty and there was bugs when I moved out December 28, 2023. They never replaced any carpet, drywall or anything after it flooded, and their solution to the smell was entering my apartment and spraying an ungodly amount of Febreeze which triggered my Asthma. Management at Cimarron Apartments has greatly improved, and the overall experience has been positive. The management team is responsive and helpful, and the location is very accessible.

If you like living in a complex of loud college kids and drinking parties late at night, live here. My walls rattle because neighbors constantly slam doors, had to have cops come out and break up late night drinking gatherings. The office personell is about useless and cares nothing about the comfort of people with early morning jobs. Basically you are told to suck it up and deal with it. The apartments are run down. They are constantly having water issues. They have let the grounds go. The current property manager is too busy planning her little events instead of addressing problems in the complex. Do your self and sanity a favor and rent from a local landlord. This place is dump. Dobt let the model apartment fool you.
