Castle Way Apartments

I have lived at Castle Way for going on 2 years. Julie and Emma are awesome! The maintenance team spot on. I appreciate the quiet. Most everyone is respectful of their community. The grounds are kept well and the natural sunlight in my apartment makes my plants, my pet and myself very happy. It's true... this is where your home is your castle

Beware, upon moving you will not receive your deposit back, even in a well kept apartment. Maintenance does not fix issues such as mold, they just paint over them. Vents in the master bedroom are ridiculously loud. And the property manager, Michele, is rude. The area is convenient, but the apartments are not worth the hassle.

*Review of the touring process only* I recently toured a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse. I called in the morning to ask what was available, and they informed me that this unit had just opened up that morning. I scheduled the tour for later in the day and left work early in order to make it on time. Once I arrived, I was informed that the unit had been taken and they would not have any more units available until July. The staff still offered to let me tour the unit and informed me that a unit could always open up. I just wish I would have been contacted before my appointment that the unit was recently taken and to see if I still wanted a tour. I understand things get missed, but I arrived to my appointment with an understanding that the unit was available; I left work early to be there.

The staff is nice when you go to sign the lease agreement but after that they’re useless. They’re never there to answer the phone or actually earn their paycheck. The apartments look nice but there are tons of problems you notice once your living there for longer then a day. A whole 12 vehicle carport has been semi collapsed just leaning in the parking lot going on four months now. To top it off they even started threatening to tow people who aren’t in a parking space even after they said park wherever there's space. Just do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place.

This place is a joke. They will screw you upon leaving with bogus charges. They charged us over $3000 for “carpet damage” though there was little to no damage to it and photo and video proof was gathered weeks and days prior to vacating showing the state of the apartment. When confronted they acted condescending and said we should be lucky “they don’t charge us for a fee that should have been charged upon moving in”, the pet fee, which we were paying. Save yourself the money and the hassle and dont move here.
