Brookridge Village Apartments

My daughter finally got to see the apartment there were going to move into. It was disgusting! BLACK MOLD in the vents and smelled like a "hamster" cage. They told the office no they would not be moving in there and Brookridge said that they could not have their deposit back. This place is awful! I lived here when they first opened in 2001 and they were nice. They have not been updated since. Very disappointing!! Update... this was on May 1st at 4pm. She posted a picture in the reviews too!! This may be something that the Health Department needs to be contacted about!

I’ve been living here for over 2 years and have had no issues. Anytime you need maintenance, they try to accommodate as soon as they can. The landscaping is getting better and they try to make sure the dumpsters areas are always clean due to people incorrectly using them.

Since we have lived here we have dealt with multiple administrative issues. Incorrect rent, incorrect leases, and a lack of communication have been consistent. Often we have spoken to the staff about these issues and have been told they would be "taken care of", yet the issues still persist and we are left trying to contact the office again. Communication has been difficult as phone calls are often not returned, or the phone is not answered. There have been instances where information has been changed or altered without our knowledge, such as pet rent, or the timeframe for maintenance orders. While the apartment is decent, I would not recommend them to anyone based on the hassle of constantly dealing with administrative issues. My husband and I have lived here for 12 years the property is very well maintained and anytime we needed maintenance they were always prompt and courteous. The location is perfect for all your shopping needs, we have been very happy and safe here. Update on my For months we were told we would receive our 200.00 deposit back, the management has figured a way to not give anything back so in my last conversation with them I was told that I would owe them $23 because we smoked in our apartment, so therefore I can forget about getting anything back, and I will no longer call them about this because I am sick and tired of fighting with these people about my deposit. When I first moved in, I was told they rarely raise the rent and that last year was the first time they raised it. One year in and the new lease has an increase in rent. They also decided to add water to the bill within 3 to 4 months of me living there. I have not seen anything that they are adding to the complex to make up for these increases. Add more to the kids park or something. They also added recently that they will tow your car if it has a flat tire. They will give you 48 hours notice first. I would hate to have a weekend off and spend my whole weekend not going anywhere and come out to no car because I didn't know I had a flat. I'm not a fan of this new rule. Overall, this place is fine. Just please read the reviews and do not take everything at face value. Rent will increase and
