Brookford Place Apartments

By far the worst complex I’ve ever stayed in. The community itself is always dirty, with trash in the alleyways and on the ground. The landscaping isn’t properly maintained, and they aren’t strict about residents picking up dog waste. Nine times out of ten, you’ll step in it if you’re walking in the grass. The fireplaces haven’t worked in years. Parking is horrible if you’re in buildings 300–600. You will always see a car parked on the curb at night because of the lack of parking. Most importantly, the leasing agents are NEVER in the office! They don’t answer phone calls. On top of all that, the prices do not match the outdated apartments. I do not recommend this complex to anyone. Please stay far away.

I’ve been here for over 2 Years now and it’s been one of the best places I’ve rented from! The office staff from Josh, Cynthia to Annie have been nothing short of amazing. Im very satisfied with the neighborhood I call home.

Lived here for 2 years. Terrible place to live. Mold issues that went unaddressed for months. Maintenance tickets would be ignored and closed without any resolution. Office staff rarely answered the phone, never returned calls, and never responded to emails, but then you'd walk in the office and they're playing on their cell phone at their desk. The windows are ANCIENT and as a result there was mold and high humidity throughout our apartment (see pics). The vendors they hire are also terrible and couldn't care less about the work they're doing. It's shameful how they "manage" their properties. Tenants don't pick up after their dogs and management does nothing to enforce it. I could go on, but it's a waste of time at this point. So glad we moved away. The prices they're charging are insan

10/2025 Unfortunately, I had to change my review to a very negative experience. I would give it a zero or lower in the negative. . I lived here 8 years. Longer than I lived in my own house. There are so many things wrong with Brookford.. Stairwells are filthy, I sent in several requests to clean it.. nothing was done, Unprofessional staff.. they tell you different things regarding the same issue.. very unprofessional and unqualified. The maintenance staff works hard because administrative staff treats them harshly. I saw it. During the snow, they refused to clean the sidewalks.. my sister visiting me fell on the sidewalk ice and she had to go to the hospital to get a scan on her head..the next biggest issue is the new portal .. they require you to pay 2 months in advance. I would like to give it a 0. Never move into this apartment. The maintenance is terrible. When they handed me over the apartment, it was dirty, the floor was sticky, the toilet was clogged, the bathtub never worked, they don't return your deposit, and the dishwasher is broken; it was never fixed. The office never responds. And the worst of all is that the website you use to pay rent never works, and the worst of all is that they charge you extra for errors on their website. When you want to notify they that you want to move, and you go to the office, there's never any staff there, so you're stuck in this apartment until they want to. They're a bunch of thieves.
