We bought our first house from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Summerville about 8 years ago. We went through the Stabenau Group specifically Mary Ann. What we thought was going to be a positive experience turned out to be a nightmare. We had told her our price range which wasn't terrible at that time but because we had a large amount left in our loan, she tried to push us to purchase a more expensive home. She did this too the point, where she would attempt to pit my wife and I against each other saying things to my wife like "your name is on the loan, if you want a bigger house, you can get a bigger house." I am very happy with Prudential Southern Coast Real Estate, and specifically Connie White. We had been trying to sell some land for a number of years, starting with another realty company, with disappointing results. The agent was very motivated and attentive... until I signed the contract. Then I rarely heard from from him, and when I did, it was mostly excuses. Went in today and asked to speak to the office manager Carrie and was denied at the front desk. What kind of business denies you speaking to the manager? They have had my earnest money that's supposed to be returned to me for months. I was just wondering what was taking so long and wasn't upset until being denied the manager. This is the reason for the review.
