I seriously tried to give BRG the benefit of the doubt!! But I’m afraid their reputation precedes them. Right now it’s 1:15am and there is NO heat in my apartment it’s freezing! When they do decide to give heat it’s sporadic and it’s only in for a few minutes! Apparently the manager informed one of the tenants that the heat is controlled by an outside company!! How lovely while they are all nice, cozy and warm in their homes we are freezing. I am going to wind up taking this situation up the chains and contact our congress people. This is absolutely ridiculous! I have already filed a discrimination complaint against them with the AG. Due to another issue. Bottom line whatever negative review you have read believe it! Me & my family are living it right now.

I live in kew gardens under BRG apartments management, after my check was cashed by third party although been mailed to BRG legit address they claimed I don't actually pay and file a law suite against me to vacate my apartment. I had explained that check was stolen in mail, they just followed a system and did not acknowledge my circumstances. No heat or very limited after 5pm most times and no heat over weekends in apartment in winter, poor communication with Management I think his name is Andy.

This is the worst management you can ever think of. They took over the property in Jackson heights building and all the residents are suffering. Its been 3 months elevator the is not working, not even one laundry machines are working. No matter how much you complain all they say is thet are working on it. But there’s clearly no work being done and the super of the building said its gonna take 6months for them to fix it

The lady who works for their management Maria Sanchez is very rude to the tenants she never complies with doing her job. She need better training or a new job. As well as the super. He’s not professional whatsoever. They need better staff here it’s ridiculous.

Unresponsive and inattentive to issues until you threaten to stop paying rent.
