Bay Crossing Apartments

I lived at Bay Crossing Apartments for a year, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartments are spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. The community offers great amenities — a gym, swimming pool, outdoor grills for barbecues, and even a beautiful pond that makes the place feel especially scenic. The location is also super convenient, with Target and Publix right next door. And whenever something needed fixing, the maintenance team was quick to respond and always solved the issue right away. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

Lived there for three years and unfortunately watched it all turn for the worse. When I first moved here in 2022, maintenance was friendly, helpful, and honestly loved by the community. Everything was clean, there was a sense of community, and staff was very helpful and nice. By the time I moved out in September 2025, it was completely different. Don’t listen to the good reviews, I saw a review talking about the gym, but the gym still wasn’t even open or existing by sep 25 from the hurricanes in Oct 24- don’t worry it’s still advertised on their website and residents are still charged community fees for it. The maintenance staff will close out orders without fixing it, or come into your place to argue with you instead (my husband was told the ac worked when our electric bill was over 350 f

5 stars for Bay Crossing and Artavia Marshall! I moved here all the way from New Jersey, and Artavia made the long-distance leasing process seamless. She is amazing at what she does—extremely helpful, communicative, and kind. The move-in was a breeze, and my new apartment exceeded my expectations. Artavia's warm welcome made me feel right at home the moment I stepped into the office. I’m thrilled to be living here and highly recommend this team to anyone moving to the area!

I just moved out after living here for a year and I really don’t have anything bad to say! Quiet community, great location with close proximity to downtown Tampa and Gandy Bridge. The leasing office always responded SO fast and any work orders were always completed within a day or two! I would’ve stayed here longer but everyone I know lives in St. Petersburg it just made sense for me to go across the bridge. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is just because there’s not currently a gym or other amenities that other apartments offer. I know they’re still renovating from the hurricanes in 2024 and they have been actively working on improvements around the community, but I would’ve loved to have gym access during my time there. I lived in this complex 10 years ago and loved it, which is why I decided to move back. Unfortunately, the experience this time has been completely different. I’ve been here for 6 months, and the construction is nonstop. I wake up to it, I go to sleep to it, and it even happens on Sundays and holidays. I’m literally writing this after being woken up by banging on my roof on Thanksgiving morning. Multiple times, construction workers have turned off my gas without notice, leaving me with no hot water. Maintenance also enters my apartment without proper notice, despite me specifically requesting to be present during all visits. The gym, which residents pay fees for, has been closed the entire time I’ve lived here, yet construction continues all over the property. It’s clearly not a priority
