I wouldn't dare tell anyone to rent from them. It's pathetic. put work orders in they would get canceled they take for ever to come and fix things... we had mold, lead, my kids, my husband and my self kept getting sick. They take they time and do what they want... handy people they got working for them ain't right either... bathroom floor falling in the whole foundation messed up...when people found out who we was renting from they said i wish i would have known cause they ain't no good!!!

I’ve been living in and renting one of their homes for almost a decade now, and I can honestly say I absolutely love the relationship I have with them. As long as you take care of the property and pay your rent they are amazing and will do whatever they can for you. They are nice and friendly and whenever I have had a problem they send someone out as soon as possible I’ve even had them send someone out the same day, if I ever have to move from this house I will get another one from them I can say me and my family are very satisfied. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great home in a good neighborhood they are the best and the rent is amazing, so give them a call and check out their website for homes fast service and great customer service you guys are the best.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have lived in my property for three years and have had nothing but problems. Three weeks of no air conditioning in the middle of August, after calling EVERY SINGLE DAY to get it resolved. This is my last lease through the company, and in the last month the owner of my unit decides to put it on the market. Fine. Cool. That’s okay. What’s not okay is being lied in a notice and through phone calls that an appraiser was coming to APPRAISE the property, just for it to be the listing agent doing an undocumented viewing. After calling Barrington to speak to a manager, I was given an email to support but was refused the ability to speak to the property manager. Rent here if you are on the verge of homelessness, not otherwise.

They went up on my rent every year for three years. I know another tenant with them and they haven't went up on their rent in period in 6 plus years. They are a rip off. Late fee is is pretty high too. Mold in the house when I started with section 8 , them or the company said nothing. Two years later sent a repair man who said it was mold and kiltzed it and he told me it was mold and I told him it was here when I got here. Repair people half ass fix the things causing them to come back numerous times. Toilet runs when it's not supposed to, repair man said he would put in for another but instead said let him try something , still doing same thing. Geesh. Alabama has no laws against this and rent gouging. So unfair and unethical. They start with 745 to get you in the hike it up every year. S

Wow, I've read so many comments stating that Barrington doesn't answer or return calls, or respond to maintenance requests. That HAS NOT been my experience at all! I'm almost always able to reach someone, and if I can't they always call me back in a timely manner. Heck, I can even communicate with them effectively through text messages. There's only one time I put in a maintenance request about my roof leaking, and no one was sent out but, come to find out it was only because they were preparing to replace my entire roof with a metal roof. The application process and move in process was fast and simple. Everyone has always been polite. And most importantly they are very sympathetic to any financial issues that may occur, and they will help you through it, cause God knows they have granted
