Headline: Poor Workmanship and Complete Lack of Accountability I am very disappointed with the quality of construction and customer service from Ball Homes. The deck built at my home (10x14 ft.) has developed a noticeable bend in the middle because it was constructed without a center support beam. This is not a normal wear-and-tear issue — it is a basic structural design flaw. Every other deck of the same size in my neighborhood includes a center beam, and none of them have this issue. When I raised the issue, the company dismissed it, claiming it was “out of warranty,” rather than taking responsibility for their mistake. Additionally, there is a serious plumbing issue in the first-floor bathroom. The cold water connection between the toilet and sink was installed incorrectly, so every

You may get a better quality and service somewhere else. This review is not out of frustration. It’s about decisions that has been poorly made in the process. 1. They don’t allow contractors to purchase screws to build a deck instead, they make them use nails so after a couple of years, the lumber tends to bend and it’s no longer in place it needs to be. 2. The chimney hood variant they offer from Faber the fan motor is inoperative technically that product should be recalled and has broken in several homes that I know about. Obviously the manufacturer quality is poor but they still offer the same model because they don’t care. 3. The customer service person is ready to always give no answer because it saves them time and money. But they are wrong. 4. Six months and one year follow-up is no

Disappointed with Warranty Handling Despite a Valid Plumbing Issue I purchased a Ball Homes property in less than two years ago and recently experienced a sudden plumbing leak between floors. Ball Homes did send a plumber, who confirmed the leak was due to a pipe defect — which was repaired under the 2-year warranty. However, the drywall damage caused directly by the leak was not covered, even though neighbors with the same issue were reportedly granted full coverage, including drywall repairs. I raised this concern multiple times and respectfully escalated it, but my request was ultimately denied without further review. While I understand warranty limits, I expected consistent treatment and accountability for resulting damages tied to covered system failures. I’m disappointed in the l

For the future Ball Homes owners….don’t go with this company! I’ll keep it short and to the point; cheap materials, cheap labor, cheap results! If you are looking for good finishing touches and detail work, this is not your home - not your construction company! We were a few hours prior to closing and I expressed my concerns over a few details and finishes that showed cracks, dents, and needed painting or fixed. The rep for Ball Homes got upset and said that I don’t look happy with the result so I should not buy this house! She was right, I should have walked away and bought a better built house from another company! Ball Homes is not a reliable, not a trustworthy source for people to build their long term houses. Daily, I am afraid of who knows what problem I’ll discover in the house

HORRIBLE customer service, DON'T BUY A BALL HOME!! Called to complain about dust control regarding new phase in our neighborhood. (Parkview Mt Washington). Asked why they don't have a watertruck for dust control, was told by the customer service rep what bo you want me to do about it . Service rep said too bad, this is what you get living in a construction zone. I told her there were regulations they needed to follow. She could have cared less. I contacted Air Pollution Control District and filed a complaint. Hopefully prospective byers will read these posts and consider some other builder to buy from
