I have been living at Avilla Cypress Creek since June, and I am extremely disappointed and angry about a recent incident that put my family and property in serious danger. The leasing staff gave a random person a code to enter my home, claiming it was supposed to be for a tour. Apparently, my home wasn’t properly marked off in their system, and because of their negligence, a complete stranger was given access to my private residence. My wife was home alone at the time, and this could have easily turned into a far worse situation. As someone who works in law enforcement, I take safety very seriously—and this was a serious breach of trust and security. If you’re thinking about moving here, save yourself a headache. They keep adding extra charges—sometimes $35, sometimes $17—so your rent is never fixed. On top of that, communicating with the property manager is a nightmare. She’s never available. I’ve been trying to speak with her for three months, and they always say she’s unavailable or that she’ll email me, which never happens. AVOID MOVING HERE. IT’S THE WORST

My husband and I were so happy to find AVILLA! It’s a brand-new, beautiful apartment home in a gated community with a pool, dog park and most importantly private backyards for every unit. The staff is great Stephanie, the manager, replies quickly, and has been such a big help! Ethan gave us a great tour, and the maintenance team is very helpful and on top of everything! We feel safe and happy here. So glad to call AVILLA home!

I was looking for a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home for August. I know we’re starting early, but I wanted to check out the community to see if it was a good fit for my family. Unfortunately, my experience during the visit was a bit disappointing. I came on a Saturday around 3 PM, and there were two people working in the office. They gave me very limited information and told me the model home was “unlocked” so I could go see it on my own. When I got there, it was actually locked. I had to walk all the way back to the office while my husband, my baby, and my daughter waited in the sun. A kind gentleman, who seemed to be off-duty and relaxing by the pool, asked if I had been given a code or anything. I told him no, just the model home number.
