Aurum

There was no rating less than one star. That's exactly why I rated them like it. During one year of living in Aurum Apartments they never came back for maintenance request. After four months of moving out of the apartment they haven't sent deposit check to us. They probably love that money. And it will definitely be harder to find them in the management office, compared to making an appointment with a president. Never will I suggest anyone to sign a contract with them.

The only reason they're even worth a star is the location and the fact the building isn't falling down. Walls are paper thin, appliances are aging out, and management quite literally does not exist (don't expect to be able to get ahold of them for anything from leasing to maintenance to move out to security deposits). Apartments near campus are rough but if you can avoid this place, do it, if you can't, good luck.

The leasing office is trash. I submitted the application and deposit. It has been 2 months, I sitll don't know whether I'm in the waitlist and no one in the leasing office , no call back.

The housing at Aurum in South Bend was great! Nice location! Well maintained!
