Got scammed out of a $30 app fee. Lakwesha had informed me my app was in good standing. After not hearing back from her later that day, I called to check status: she had told me it was declined. I asked to speak to a manager about this. Said manager Pam gave me a call said it was declined when Lakwesha said all was good. Pam was rude and talked over me I could not get a word in with her. I had asked for my $30 app fee back. She said no. Highly unprofessional. They obviously need the $30 app scam fee more than me. Avoid this place as they are collecting app fees, say they are approved then quick to deny.

I recently toured a rental property and spoke with Doug, who was professional and very helpful. After viewing the home, I asked about the next steps and was told, “All you need to say is that you want the house and it’s yours.” I was informed the only thing missing was job verification — which I had submitted and completed by the end of the same day. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn after that. Every time I followed up, the receptionist gave inconsistent and unclear information. She came off as annoyed and unhelpful, and every day for over a week, I was told something different — even though all documents had been submitted. Do not rent with this company. This is the most incompetent property management company I’ve ever dealt with. They neglected a raccoon infestation in my attic for four months and have done nothing about a basement leak since October, offering only a dehumidifier as a solution. They demand you submit maintenance requests with your availability but disregard it entirely. This has happened multiple times. It’s cheap because they’re incapable of doing what a management company is supposed to do. They offer zero amenities, like lawn care—you have to do everything yourself except for maintenance issues.

Needing a realtor and not living in this area I contacted an acquaintance for a referral, A positive recommendation was made to contact Doug Schor of Central Management Realty. After a short conversation describing my needs, in a very short time, Doug emailed to me list of of prospects to review. I made several communications via email, text and phone conversations - always receiving insightful and helpful guidance in making my selections. When the process was completed, I feel comfortable and confident in the decisions I have made and I attribute that, more than anything else, due to Doug's guidance in the process. I will definitely be using him in the future... Several years later after this original review, Doug and his crew have continued to give excellent service!

Great management company. Very helpful and top notch communication. They really shine in out-of-the ordinary situations. They managed a property for me while I lived out of town. On occasions I need to coordinate access to the property with tradesmen, it was like having a family member in town: they always had someone there at the scheduled time and were able to provide a phone number to give the tradesman. Top notch.
