Fair and honest review after living at a Grand Heritage Building for a few months. I think for the price, it’s fine. By this I mean average and teetering below what I’d expect for this location, this property management company and a group that has an 80 page lease protecting themselves against every little thing. Pros: quiet building and streets, fair market rent, convenient location, good app for maintenance needs and online payment. Cons: Well, I’ve never once seen anyone clean the interior space of this building. The halls and entryways are pretty disgusting right now, granted it’s winter and hard to keep up with salt and sand. That being said- other property mgmt groups on this block rent for similiar or lower prices and have clean, beautiful entries. Honestly, I’m kind of embarrass

My husband and I have been living in properties managed by At Home Apartments for almost eight years now, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Each property we've lived in has been well-maintained, with communication and responsiveness always being timely and helpful. The management team is second to none, making themselves readily available for any questions or concerns. The process of finding an apartment, signing a lease, and moving in has always been smooth and stress-free. At Home prioritizes our safety, and any issues are addressed swiftly and with the attention they deserve. The properties are consistently well-maintained. I have lived at Fernbrook Homes for over 5 years. They have professional management and maintenance employees that have bent over backwards to help when I had an issue. My stove went out today as I was aout to do my Christmas baking. I've had health problems and haven't been able to bake until today. Originally I was told that it would take a few days but they went and found a solution sooner. They are the best!!!

“I rented with At Home Apartments and had a consistent mouse problem in my unit. Management never disclosed the issue before I moved in and acted like it wasn’t a big deal when I reported it. Living with mice is a health and comfort issue, not something tenants should just ‘deal with.’ I’ve since moved to a much cleaner, better-managed building and the difference is night and day. If you’re considering renting here, ask very directly about pest control before signing.”

We recently applied to rent from At Home Apartments and were surprised to be denied based on “negative rental history.” This was confusing, as we have a clear and verifiable rental record. We’ve since been approved for other apartments using the same application platform (RentCafe), with no issues or red flags. What stood out is that only this property flagged a problem, and without specifying what it was. All other applications used similar screening processes, yet none reported anything negative. After looking into it, we learned this property uses a third-party service called Rental Research Services (RRS), which does not allow consumers to view their own reports online. Instead, applicants must request a copy by postal mail and wait several weeks to receive it. This lag time makes it
