Arbor Haus Apartments

I’ve been living here since august, at first it was horrible. There were roaches, thing in the apartment kept breaking and it would be hard to get ahold of someone. But around January this place started to turn around. The new manager Jeremy started by making this place pet friendly. At first it was not and me and my partner had the only dog. He than began answering all call in a timely manner. He would speak to the residents and fixing problems our building had. They started regularly spraying and by march we never saw another roach. Mind you he had been there maybe 2 months. In April he got the pool cleaned and looking fantastic while fixing the phone needed to call 911. Deena is an amazing property manager. You can tell she truly loves what she does. She went above and beyond to help us move in smoothly. She is proactive in getting what needs to be done completed, detail oriented, very responsive, and a pleasure to know. Not to mention she is fun! Thank you for making this move an easy one.

Cons: There is no central A/C for these apartments. There is one wall mounted unit in the living room. In the summer, the bedroom gets very hot making it unsleepable and the wall mounted unit in the living room can’t keep up or blow enough cold air to properly cool the apartment. No ceiling fans to help. The wall mounted unit is also super loud and runs up your electric bill The “renovations” are substandard. Expired paint was used on the accent wall in the living room. It was giving off a foul odor. Property manager said she didn’t smell anything despite the obvious odor. The moment the maintenance worker showed up, immediately confirmed it was expired paint that was used. The vinyl floor is very cheap and wears, scratches, and breaks easily. The renovated apartments are fantastic! everywhere i looked for the same price as here was a let down! the other communities were truly the definition of you get what you pay for. Not here! You get way more!

I HAVE HAD IT ENOUGH I paid a refundable holding fee as clearly stated by the management. Weeks have passed, and despite multiple emails, in-person visits, and confirmations of my correct address, I have still not received my money back. The only responses I got were vague and non-committal. It’s been extremely frustrating trying to get a straight answer or any accountability. I’ve done everything on my end—prompt communication, polite follow-ups—and yet the refund is still pending without explanation. I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this management with any upfront fees, refundable or not. DO NOT FALL FOR "REFUNDABLE HOLDING FEE" SCAM. It literally took 2 seconds to pay for the "refundable holding fee" but months to get back?
