Applegate Apartments

My mother had a very upsetting experience living at Apple Gate Apartments. The apartment had severe mold, frequent loud noise at all hours, and plumbing problems that were never properly addressed, even after many complaints. The manager, Yaima, repeatedly ignored maintenance requests and resident concerns, leaving us to deal with unsafe and stressful conditions. When my mother moved out, management charged her over $1’000 in deductions, including for “carpet cleaning,” “painting,” and other fees, even though the apartment was left clean and in good condition. We have video footage from move-out showing the unit’s condition to prove this. In my opinion, (((Yaima)))showed a lack of concern for residents’ well-being and did not handle issues with professionalism or integrity. Future tenant

Presidio (the LLC that owns Applegate) are slum lords. They knew about termites for 2YEARS and i still had to call The county and get them formally violated before they did anything. DO NOT LIVE THERE! Ps, MOLD.

NIGHTMARES!! Let's talk about the water billing system. It's outrageous residents are charged a minimum of $70, regardless if they use one drop or not. This policy feels corrupt. Last four water bills were over $100 each. I live alone. There are constant leaks throughout the complex, resulting in non-stop visits from plumbers. Just look at the stains on the hallway carpets. It's frustrating to deal with these ongoing issues that disrupt daily life. Communication with the maintenance staff is also a challenge, as the sole maintenance worker does not speak English. This language barrier makes it impossible to address concerns. The parking lot is insane. It's like navigating through a field of bumper cars. I worked from home looking out the window. I've seen so many cars get hit that it b

Very bad place to rent. Management is horrible and they do not care about anything or anyone but to take the renters money. Please if you can rent somewhere else. Pictures of the apartments posted here are OLD pictures that do not show how terrible this place looks like and is.

3 years ago I made sure it was okay to have my plants on the balcony. I looked through my lease, and even called the old manager. She was totally okay with it as long as they were kept up with and didn’t make the apartments look bad. Which they didn’t. Plants that I’ve taken care of since they were a seed. The “new management” threw them away when they’ve been here for almost 4 years. She’s been here maybe a month. I love the people that live in the complex, and I’ve gotten along with all of the managers that have worked here previously. Absolutely no issues up til now. How can you throw something away that’s been here way longer than you have? I know they’re just plants to everyone else but they’re a huge part of my spirituality. I really hope I don’t grow to hate this place I’ve loved to
