Altamira Apartments

How does this place NOT have 5 stars? Active gym space, rec area, beautiful yards, it's quiet, there isn't crime, the pools are clean AND a basketball and volleyball court?! The maintenance team DOES NOT MESS AROUND. I need something done, big or small, they are ON IT. Repairs don't take very long on bigger, more complicated tasks like repairing the stairs, and best of all, the staff. Deborah and Sandy. Seriously, probably the best team of property management a tenant could ask for. They worked with me in ways I was not expecting and even kept me from becoming homeless. They're selflessness is unlike anything that I'm used to. Topped off with a nice coffee to go, these ladies, when they tell you "welcome home" you know you found it. I’ve lived here for almost a year with my husband and i always try to recommend the altamira to everyone! staff is always super friendly, especially the lady who cleans the club house and ms. Juanita. they keep the parking lot clean, and the laundry rooms as well. Beautiful views, in a nice safe neighborhood and surrounding. I never grew up on the west side but its so nice. About 5 minutes frim manitou and downtown as well. everyone here is so friendly!! especially my neighbors :)!

First off, Sandy was my lady from start until finish and she was AMAZING. She made me feel so welcome and comfortable moving in and always replied to my messages swiftly. I only got to live here for a year but boy was it one of the best apartment complexes I had lived in. Crime: I never saw anything or ever had the police here for anything other than a spot to hang out for their lunch break. Community: I adored my neighbors. Everyone was nice and friendly in my building (mostly older, I’m 26) and they would always check in on me and say hi. Dosent mean there isn’t bound to be a few odd balls, but everyone I met for the most part was sweet as can be. Locations: Walmart is 10 min away, kingsoopers is 10min away and target is about 20min. RENTAL PLUS SCAM: Beware of added charges you’re required to opt out of, when renewing lease. They tell you about everything else but that new charge. I noticed today in my rent reminder email that the amount of community charges were higher than my bill sent 5/17. Management said it wasn’t them and to call Homebody. Homebody says it’s Altamira and I have paid it for 3 months. I call management again they deny telling me it was Homebody and that it’s not Altamira. Then tell me it’s Altamira HQ. This is my 3rd lease. I was told I should’ve read my lease. No one reads a 50 page lease. There are scams everyday targeting ppl. I didn’t expect it from my home of 2+ years.

Sandy is INCREDIBLE! She mad the process of moving into his first apartment seamless for my son. She is so knowledgeable, and thorough. Not to mention the sweetest and friendliest of all people on the planet. I can’t say enough about how wonderful she made the move in process. Altamira is just super!
