Rude on the phone to my housing lady. Argued about how housing assistance works to said worker. I can't remember her name but I believe it started with a B. I wouldn't suggest this company if you are in need of housing assistance, they will not be helpful.

They don’t even want so accept a rent check, they demand you go online to pay your rent. Nice if you are unable to do that or don’t have a cell phone or internet connectivity (some people don’t, this IS Idaho, ya know.). Maybe some time, on your web site, have a link saying “Pay Rent”

I’ve lived in 5 states and these are the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. They purposely aggravated myself and my girlfriend when we were trying to resolve a rent dispute. Short story: they prorated her rent for the month of April, which is in writing, then turned around saying she owed full rent plus a late fee. My girlfriend stated she was about to snap and was walking away, and out comes some “boss” lady stirring things up when she wasn’t even involved in the conversation. I said calmly “you need to stop.” Her rude response was “Really?” I tried to talk to them calmly, the “boss” or whomever she was kept interrupting me and wouldn’t let me speak. THAT was when I got unprofessional. I would warn anyone and everyone to never do business with this crooked, rude, unprofessional, and diso

These people tend to be that polite kind of rude. I really don't like dealing with them. If you leave a phone message, they will usually get around to taking care of your issue eventually, but they won't give you the courtesy of a call back to let you know that they're on it. When you try to talk to them about anything they tend to act like you're inconveniencing them. They're slow to deal with maintenance issues. Rent can only be paid by check or cash at their office, which is an inconvenience. Wish they'd join the rest of us in the 21st century and have an option to pay online. I'd rather pay a few dollars card processing fee than have to drive over there to pay my rent.

As a property owner- AVPM takes the monkey entirely off the owners back, while managing your place how you request. My investment was protected with their standard policies, and I could implement my own policies with theirs. I will use these guys again should I choose to long term rent again. I believe the poor reviews these guys have received are from disgruntled tenants who probably were terrible tenants. 1 bad tenant can bankrupt you. I feel AVPM does a good job of weeding those people out.
