First of all this new manager Anna Warner is not a manager anyone would really want to have. On appearance smiles are big and tone is warm but its a facade and her intentions are not good. I have been living here just close to two years and for the last year and a half ive been going into the community room doing my schoolwork so i can focus and have peace and quiet. I go every day almost. Its worked out quite well for me and id come to rely on having that space available to use in furthering my education. From time to time people came in there to have groups or meetings and it was a well respected space. She started locking it up and then required an email to reserve the space. I sent her the email to use it and she informed me that i couldnt use it because residents were misusing the roo

This was the worst living experience and that was mostly because of the on site team. My first morning after I moved in the maintenance man let himself into my apartment with a whole group of men. There was no notice they were coming and they unlocked and fully walked into my apartment while I was asleep and then said “oh we didn’t know someone had moved in”. My washing machine broke repeatedly and caused the apartment to flood multiple times. When they didn’t fix the issue the first time and it flooded again the maintenance guy said “well I heard you complained again” and was incredibly rude during most of our interactions. Building has gone down hill since a new manager took over. Elevator has been out of service since September 26th. A majority of the tenants here are on HEN and they are botching that every month and then blame HEN and the tenants whilst putting 30 day notices to vacate. Carpets are a mess. Parking is a mess. One person even had their car towed from a guest space with no notice to them or the building. Things ran much better under the previous building manager. Maybe this place is tanking and they are trying to get rid of tenants to offload it. Maintenance, cleaning and general care for tenant wellbeing has all but disappeared. They even locked the common room and the bathrooms by the gym.

Landlord has a nasty attitude. Apartments reek of substances and hallway carpets are filthy. They kept threatening to raise my rent until I renewed a years lease. It was stated in the contract that after a year you auto default to month to month with the same rate. Landlord said she was going to raise it every month till I resigned. First night I lived there my kitchen sink fell in. I was met with a lack of empathy and told that it happens. The apartments are not professionally cleaned before moving in. My feet were black and I had to deep clean it myself. I don’t work with landlords who can’t act on good faith especially when you’re paying close to $1600 for a studio. Looks are deceiving here.

They hired a child to manage a building. She's always on her phone either in the office or in the hallways. You can't even reach the office via phone or email. What does she even do???
