Zimax did a great job on installation of pur 10 year battery smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They also repaired our dryer vent discharge. Garrod was very professional and easy to work with. Price was good for tasks achieved. Would highly recommend them for your handyman needs.

I have been working with Zimax Inc since 2019. Garrad and Annette are a pleasure to work with. I have a old house and they have done multiple jobs for me. I am including pictures from before and after. (This job was completed in 2021). As you can see in the before and after pictures that the job was very complex. With an old house you never know what you get. I know that when I have them working on my house that the job is done with experience and quality. They are very trustworthy with a excellent knowledge base especially on older homes. You are guaranteed to receive exceptional service every time you work with them. A few years ago, Zimax replaced our cellar door and installed two railings along the steps from the street up to our yard. These repairs did not last. The cellar door I requested was metal. I was not home when they started the project and instead of the metal door we discussed at the time I got an estimate they built a door for the cellar entry from cheap plywood. I questioned this choice when I came home the next day, unfortunately after there was no stopping the progress. I was reassured that this was common, would provide security, a tight seal against water and would last. The door was painted with basic exterior paint in brown, not something that was weather or water proof - I was not consulted. The door was originally installed with no lock mechanism on the inside of the door, only
