Zeropak

It’s a super nice reuse of an underutilized historic property. The rental prices are reasonable. The unit overall is nice. I was the the fourth person to move into the Zeropak and a lot of the amenities are not yet active. I have a one bedroom unit and it is more than 900 sq feet. My windows provide adequate daytime light. The kitchen is very dark at night and the lighting is inadequate for most kitchen tasks. Storage is minimal, I only have one coat closet and no storage shelving provided above the very nice front loaded washer and dryer. I have asmall closet in my bedroom. Most annoying is our mail is being held at the post office and there was no communication and still is no communication to residents when our mail will be delivered. Really nice new apartments. Just wish they made it more clear upfront that you have to fall within a certain income range to live here. I got disqualified for making too much, which caught me off guard. Still a Great place.

This is my first time going thru a rental process and all I can say is I’m grateful for the time and attention I’ve been provided. From the beginning, Amanda, was very welcoming and friendly. I have a toddler and it’s not always easy going out to do things like this with them. But she was totally understanding and super kind and helpful throughout my first visit. Moving forward with my application process, I had the pleasure of working with Marisela. All I can say is, she’s been amazing and great to work with. She’s been able to explain things in detail so I can better understand everything that was happening. The leasing process at ZeroPak apartment complex was excellent. The leasing team was friendly, professional, and made everything easy from start to finish. Communication was clear,questions were answered promptly,and the entire experience was stress-free .A great first impression and I look forward to living here.

They claim to help low-income residents & the locals in Winchester, but that’s definitely not the case. They act like they’ll help you, but really just give you the runaround & take days to get back to you. They say they care about helping low-income people, but actions show otherwise. They won’t work with you unless you have a perfect background — no evictions, perfect credit, & a spotless rental history. It feels like they cater more to people moving in from bigger cities than to locals who actually need affordable housing. Overall, it feels like more of a money grab than a company that truly cares about the community. If you’re local or low income, don’t waste your time — they’re not as helpful or understanding as they make it seem.
