I thought that renting a new home would be fantastic but what a nightmare. The owner died and Young Management took over I have had no working HVAC unit for 3 years. They even sent someone out to zip tie it?????? Now the plumbing is a problem. I’ve had no working toilets or water for 2 days. When you call for help they treat you like your inconveniencing them. No one treats you with respect or concern. They accept your money but they could care less on if anything works or not. Welcome to the South!

If negative stars were an option, I’d choose it! I rented from Young Management for a year and had a terrible experience. The apartment complex I rented in was relatively new and very safe however, management is TERRIBLE! Jo Ann is quite possibly the rudest human I have ever encountered. I was without air conditioning for 9 days in June, keep in mind it was 90+ degrees out. I called numerous times for updates with no answer as to what was wrong or a time frame for repairs. I was told “I am not the only person with issues in this world.” After demanding a window unit or some type of relief, I was given a small window unit capable of cooling a 150 sq ft space for my 1100+ sq ft apartment on the 3rd floor. I went to view a rental property managed by Young Management for my boyfriend and I. I was transparent about the needs and inquired about the requirements. I loved the property that I thought would be called home. However, my boyfriend and I completed the $75/per person application, got the required documents and was advised we’d be notified within 48 hours with approval or denial. Prior to applying, I asked if the company would consider a contingent offer letter and/or my boyfriend’s income from New York. I was advised that the contingent letter from the state agency he applied to would be more than enough for income but they could not consider his New York income. I applied to this apartment complex in hopes that I would move into a nice apartment. These people were very rude & unprofessional. The front desk lady asked me why I came out there 3 different times to view the apartment. In which I was making sure that this was the place for me. Being that this was my very first apartment that I’ve ever applied for in my name. I was constantly asked about my living history & they even brought up a place I lived in 2.5 years ago & not my current address. This is even after I have constantly told them this will be my first place in my name. After about 2 weeks of waiting I finally called them, to see what the status of my application was. Visited the office today and spoke with Joann. Very nice and patient. I toured two places twice within the same day and she was informative on both rentals. Nice experience so far. Applied and waiting for the results. *Update I have not heard anything back since last Thursday (turned in application) and only time I did was when I called. Ive since found another place and out $120.00. Communication is key! I urgently needed a place so if you are on a time schedule I wouldn't recommend. For that I give onw star.
