They are not a good company to work with the landlord filed for eviction after receiving parchal payment and proof of the remaining balance being sent in the mail by check then proceed to charge me for filing fees from court after receiving over payment the same day as the court date the day before Christmas eav I now have my rent over payed and am responsible for the $180 worth of filing fees even tho my rent is certainly over payed. since renting my electric cut out of no we're in the main bed room and it took 2 long weeks for them to send maintenance to fix this issue they came out on a Sunday morning after I expressed the fact that my rent is in escrow until the issues are resolved in my apartment is fully function able.... the same day I came home from court my water went from gettin

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. They left reviews for themselves, which says a lot for their "integrity." When a company has its own employees leave reviews, that's telling. Go with someone else for managing your properties or you will be disappointed.

Of I could give zero stars, I would. I recently put down a $2190 deposit on a 2 bedroom apartment. I was told that if there were any changes to let them know and it would be refundable. I was not able to sign a lease at that time for some reason just a deposit form. The wording is terrible and I was made to believe I would be refunded if I moved in another direction. I decided to move on to another apartment since I found one that was in good shape and actually had room. I was then told that I would not get my $2190 deposit back on a tiny apartment that I hadn’t even signed a lease for. It was less than a week. I was told different information from different people. I will be reaching out to the BBB and other resources to try to recoup at least part of that money. Don’t go through them.

They are unprofessional. Got evicted just because we held the rent money a month cause of sewer backup in basement. Called and texted them about it. They said that they would send someone out and no one never showed up to fix the problem. They don't deserve any stars but had to give them one star to write review. Don't rent from them cause they don't fix anything.

Truly an exceptional experience with Yorktowne Property Shoppe. Always handle anything that comes up quickly. Recommend them to anyone who is looking for a property management company
