Stay Away. It took nearly 2 weeks for them to fix outlets in kitchen after I moved in (when they had 2 months advanced notice I would be moving in). Doors were damaged upon moving in, and I get the feeling I'll end up having to pay for it when I leave. Windows locks don't work and the windows hardly open as it is. For having a "no pets" rule, I know the tenant next door owns 2. Only thing consistent is the lack of quality. Do not rent here.

Rent has been on time (auto pay) since moving in. AC went out in the middle of summer (hottest July on record, anyone?) and not only was the maintenance crew incredibly difficult to work with, they didn't solve the problem. We were lectured about how expensive it would be to fix, and told to deal with it until they got someone out here several days from now. They also hung up on us after we stated we have a two year old in the house and that wasn't an acceptable answer. Following that, I called the property manager Daren, and received a similarly poor attitude and unprofessional approach to the issue. Not great communication (things like announcing that all cars need to be moved Monday morning for parking lot work but then starting the work Friday afternoon instead, thus trapping some cars and being a general nuisance), and why do we have to get pet insurance through your agency if we're just going to forfeit the deposit for any pet damages anyway? Not to mention we had to make our own key copies in the beginning because we couldn't get someone to take care of it for us (despite being told twice that they would provide the other set of keys for us). Horrid rental to deal with in ALL aspects of Landlord/Tenant issues. They refuse to do required maintenance. They DO NOT adhere to New York State Tenant Rights. They try to cheat tenants, at everything. Example: They make you do autopay rent. And they charge the tenant for autopay service monthly, in addition to forcing the tenant to use the service. AVOID Yorktowne Property Management for your rental needs.

I've never lived here, but the no pet rule is very unfair. It should be interviewing tenants 2 observe there situation. I just sold my home on interior look alone. I pride myself on being OCD.. in my home!!
