The management team consistently delivers excellent service and maintains clear, timely communication—even during staff transitions, which speaks volumes about their commitment to tenants. A special shoutout to our building maintenance man, Scott! He’s truly a gem. Scott responds to requests quickly and efficiently, and if a fix isn’t immediate, he always keeps us informed about the next steps so we’re never left wondering. His customer service is top-notch, and his knowledge is impressive. What sets him apart is that he doesn’t just fix the issue—he takes the time to explain what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future. We genuinely appreciate having him around and feel lucky to have such a reliable and thoughtful professional

As a longstanding York tenant - I would like to recognize Scott Bruns for the outstanding maintenance service he has brought to the company. We've never had such quick and friendly resolution to our issues and requests. He's an amazing addition to York!!!

Over several years of ownership in a York managed community, I have experienced inconsistent communication and unresolved outcomes when reporting landscaping damage or requesting repairs. Responses are often delayed and result in either no repairs or being told I was responsible, without documentation or evidence. When I reach out to the main York contact email I have received no response. Additionally the online portal is not user friendly- it displays generic FAQ answers that aren’t specific to our community. The work order function was never responded to.

My experience with York Properties has been very disappointing, especially with Pyne Eller. He is extremely unprofessional and consistently unresponsive — calls and messages often go unanswered. Instead of fairly addressing concerns, he tends to dismiss issues without listening to both sides, which only makes the situation worse. Working with him has been frustrating and unproductive, and I would strongly caution others about dealing with him. York Properties needs to do much better in terms of accountability and customer service.

I am a CPA and I work with their accounting as a service department. York provides excellent service for a professionals needs. A rare occurrence. The reports are accurate. Responsiveness and follow up is exceptional, and the attention to detail and ensuring accuracy with Van, my contact, critically thinking through entries and inquiring where there might be issues is outstanding.
