REVIEW BELOW UPDATE: The statement that they have replied with is categorically false. They repeatedly lie through their replies on Google reviews and it is clear to anyone who looks that the positive reviews here are either paid or fake accounts. They illegally rent units that are not heated. It's well documented that in my building, as well as others, they use HPD funds to cheaply renovate old homes and then remove the heating system to save money lost through the resultant rent protections. YHT provides space heaters and says that is sufficient or they install wall units that do not work. Our apartment has been under the legal internal temperature limit since heating season began and still our energy bills are through the roof. Furthermore, they rent apartments with illegal basement

Don't rent with this management company unless you want to deal with $500+ energy bills because they refuse to admit their heat pump has a leak, even after the electrician diagnosed it. We're dealing with barely functioning heat that costs us hundreds more because the heat pump is working harder than it should have to, and the only other option is to avoid using the system altogether and be freezing cold in the apartment. It's a shame because heat pumps are supposed to be energy efficient and environmentally better, but the building has not serviced it or properly checked up on it in what sounds like over a year, due to previous tenants stating the same issues. I’ve been renting for four years and I absolutely love my place. Management has always been more than amazing. Communication is great and an understanding team beyond grateful. My building is kept neat and clean at all times. When emailing management they respond fast and make sure all needs are met. To be completely honest this is has been the best experience I’ve had living in my building. I’m grateful God chose them to see through this stage in my life and give me the opportunity for my son and I to have a roof over our heads. Thank you so much. My bathroom had issues and they resolved it right away. Thank you.
