When I met YB real estate agent Rudy Pierre at the showing of a home he represented, we clicked. I loved that the home was black owned, black represented, well maintained and met the description. He informed us that he had received one bid for the home and we should place ours. We did just that and it was accepted by the sellers. We brought in a licensed inspector with 22 years experience and over 1000 home inspections under his belt. When we pulled up to the property on the day of the inspection, he showed us from outside a slope/an indentation in the roof; after going on to conduct a thorough inspection, he gave the house mostly a thumbs up with a recommendation to correct the broken truss in the roof, replace the furnace, redirect the sump pump and a few minor things. Probably one of themost unprofessional agents I have ever dealt with. William Gill was rude and obnoxious to my lawyer, my agent (on several occasions) and lawyers office people...to the point that my lawyer refused to deal w him at all; misspelled name of condo unit in write-up (Chadum vs Chatham); insisted the buyer pay for condo package (papers) when it is sellers responsibility; write-up stated everything included to later find out after putting down deposit that that's not what they really meant; related to seller but never acknowledged it. There was no need for terrible treatment. We agreed to asking price...all their requests re inspection etc. This agent has a huge chip on his shoulder for no reason.
