Yaupon by Windsor Apartments

DO NOT MOVE HERE. My wife and I moved in early December '25 and it has been a disaster. Upon moving in our unit was filthy. The dryer was clogged with lint, had a broken exhaust tube so lint and heat were just flying around. Additionally we noticed when the units were being built they covered half of the exhaust port with siding. The cabinets covered in grease, dust, and dirt. Worst of all our ice bin had three exploded beers from the previous tenant. My wife is currently pregnant and that could have gone very badly. Among other things, our provided trash can was filthy and the area it sits in was disgusting. We found shards of glass, dead plants left behind, and in general a dirty porch area. We have made multiple service requests that require follow ups and if we don't reach out, man

This is a great place to live minus the construction. I have been hit with very harsh times financially over the last 4 years and the staff has been very accommodating. Grace is a great property manager that does her best despite some of the hardships(oak hill construction project) she has been asked to deal with. Things will get better in 2026 for yaupon by Windsor but it is a great place to call home

If you’re looking to live in this area, do yourself a favor and move next door to Ocotillo or Palo Verde. They’ve recently renovated, pool is updated, resident clubhouse too, they also added more smart-home features, and BEST PART? They are priced the same. You’ll get a much better living experience without the stress. (Seriously... before moving here check Yelp. This complex has a 2.5-star rating there, and that’s a far more honest reflection than what you’ll find here. I suspect the Google reviews are padded. Check Apartments.com and ApartmentRatings too before making a decision.) Why?? This complex has been a constant source of frustration. This is a very clean, family-friendly community and overall a beautiful, peaceful place to live. The maintenance team is always very quick and helpful, which makes the experience even better. We have really enjoyed living here and would highly recommend this society to anyone looking for a comfortable place to live.

Your attitude to your home is pivotal to how you function after a long day of work. After living in a house for many years, I was worried. Who am I living around? Are these people respectful? Is my communities interests being kept? Will management work to not only maintain but consistently improve where we call home? After a year here, I can say my questions were answered. I am grateful. The people are cordial. The community is clean and welcoming. The management is responsive, attentive, and takes action. I would like to thank Grace and her team for working with me, and however many other residents, to keep me looking forward to coming home.
