Woodlands at Echo Farms by McKee Homes

We just recently had a home built with McKee. Cameron made this process smooth as possible from weekly updates to answering any questions we had (which was quite a few). He even helped us blue tape! This is our first home so we were not sure what we were getting into. Awesome builder and would totally work with again if we have the chance.

We closed in January 2023. We've been working with McKee homes on the extensive punch list and I have held off giving a review as they are no longer communicating with us. I genuinely don't know where to start. All items listed below were on our punch list prior to closing and submitted within 30 days after closing, as instructed. The punch list was 5 pages long. • Inferior quality of products than what was shown. • Lack of communication and unfulfilled promises. • Broken truss in the ceiling that was left unattended for weeks and left sags in the ceiling in the kitchen and living room. • Hump in 2nd-floor master from leveling compound. • Poorly trimmed staircase. Repeatedly promised to have the trim replaced, even had the installer with the supervisor come to the house and speak about wh

Echo farms is a beautiful neighborhood with plenty to do, very nice neighborhood and neighbors. As well as all the nice restaurants and all day activities that are around this area even less than a couple miles away.

We formerly had a golf course view from the back of our home and then McKee built their homes. Now we have a swamp to look at with high weeds and stagnant water, which draws critters and mosquitoes.

What an incredible location in Midtown and a great pricepoint! These homes are stunning. I see that the model home is now listed for sale!! Whoever gets that one is lucky lucky!!
