Witmer Road Apartments

If I could give 0 stars I would. Lived in the witmer Rd apartments for almost 3 years and Sue F, the "property manager" never once handled an issue professionally for us ever, told us that KD likes to have their residents try to solve the issues first. NO SECURITY CAMERAS ON PROPERTY. Never any parking spaces due to people who don't live there always parking. Half of our stuff didn't work in the apartment and no one would ever come to fix it. Black mold was every where when we moved out. 100% unprofessional and do not recommend unless you want issues everyday and baby diapers and litter all over your halls and parking lot!

Would give 0 stars if i could.. Garbage man dropped the dumpster all over the parking lot (trash and broken glass spread everywhere). Emailed Sue F. was told by her that “honestly it was fine when I was there a few days ago”. Wouldn’t clean, wouldn’t make the garbage men clean. Been 4 days since and still garbage everywhere. Don’t live here unless you want to live in the dumps and have the landlord not care.

Witmer apartments have provided a close location to schools while being far enough away from the city. I have also enjoyed their close proximity to a local park on the river. Although, if you are thinking of moving to this apartment complex, be informed that there is a constant cigarette smell in the buildings. The hallways in the building, it comes through the bathroom vents, cabinets reek of the smell. Smoking is allowed in the building but there are "rules" that you aren't allowed to let the smell travel to the hallways(which clearly aren't enforced). I was told that if the smell bothers me to purchase air fresheners and spray the halls myself. There have also been several incidences of cop cars in the parking lot, one including a team inside the building with shields and handcuffs. If

Good place to live. No issues with maintenance etc. Do not allow pets, which is wht we are moving. One issue we had is when we would shower, the bathroom walls would get all slimy and Grey steam would drip down the walls leaving dirty lines. Had to spray cleaner on the walls and scrub them numerous times, but haven't had to in about 5 months. Has 1 ac unit, which doesn't effectively cool the bedrooms, just the living room. Two issues that's not cause of the apartment but the area, Is from may to early July the amount of sandflys in the area is just insane. Had to pay for an extra long power wash on my car at delta sonic because they wouldn't come off. Called it the river road special. Alright place to live that comes with plenty frustration. Everything seems to fall apart/break after a few years here. Internet is out almost every day and they don’t seem interested in looking into the problem. My dish service hasn’t worked at all since moving in a few years back and no one seemed interested in helping to fix the problem. Not worth your money in my opinion.
