Winnemac Properties

Please do not rent from winnemac. They’ve been mostly neutral but have later been avoidant to our emails, calls, texts and service requests. We’ve had issues with kitchen cabinet hardware failing that they’ll replace immediately, but ongoing water damage and heat issues have lasted months. Last time they simply scraped the wall flat and repainted it. We renewed our lease after a good first year, and it is very clear they do not take care of larger issues. It’s frustrating and demoralizing. Our previous property manager refused to step in our unit, and the new one has not responded to our email from December 25th (It’s January 24th as of this review). We’ve also had a maintenance technician use our paper towels, toilet paper, and bath towels for bathroom repairs in the past, with no compen

Comfortable living and great communication with the Property Manager, Freddie! Freddie is always availble when needed and Carlos the Maintenance guy is incredible, he shows up moments after we put in a request and he is so sweet. We are very thankful to have found such a beautiful home and neighbors through Winnemac

I had to apartment hunt after my previous apartment was lost in a fire. After two months of active searching I was barely receiving responses and would often show up to showings where the unit already had multiple applicants. I finally met Brian who was fabulous at providing multiple possible units that fit my criteria, answered quickly, and was open about what was actually available versus what had pending applications. When my sister needed an apartment I recommended Brian and I’d do it again. I really appreciate his dedication - I was able to find a great place to land that hit all my wishlist items for less than my original budget!

My children and I have resided at our Winnemac Properties building for 5 1/2 years and we are resigning for another year. The building is well cared for and building/unit repairs are immediately serviced. Snow and ice are addressed in a timely manner and the staff is extremely kind, caring and thoughtful in how they communicate and proactively address resident needs. Freddie Raygoza is the current building manager and provides impeccable customer service - he is quick to respond to service requests and goes above and beyond to address our needs. We are thankful to have found such a lovely home for all of these years and appreciate the care that Winnemac Properties has provided to us.

My spouse and I moved into an apartment in Irving Park managed by Winnemac last month. Our property manager Julian has been very responsive, communicative, and on top of things. Every time we have had a maintenance request, it’s been handled within the week. The maintenance person, Adrian, is a quick worker and very respectful. We are so happy we chose a Winnemac apartment!
