Windsor Oak Creek Apartments

Windsor Oak Creek would not allow a breakage of the lease after our newborn got hypothermia from being home for a single day in the apartment. Maintenance has always been great, but the properties are not well insulated, which causes your heat bill to sky-rocket. After discussing that our new born was in the NICU for hypothermia, they still would not allow us to break the lease with the understanding that it is not suitable conditions for a newborn.

My wife and I have lived at Windsor Oak Creek for a couple of years now and have nothing but great things to say. The office staff and maintenance team are always friendly, responsive, and professional. We’ve really enjoyed living here — it’s a great location, and the apartments are clean, quiet, and affordable. Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience!

I stopped by the leasing office with a few questions and Dejah was amazing. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood all my options including what was available at the Ridgewood community. She was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people find the right home. It made the whole experience really easy and comfortable.

I have lived here for many years, and everything was great before the new management company took over. I really loved the environment back then. But after the new management arrived, they started replacing all new residents’ carpets with hard flooring, and that’s when the nightmare began. I think it’s clear that these buildings were not designed to handle hard floors. There is absolutely NO soundproofing. Ever since my upstairs neighbor moved in, I can hear EVERYTHING they do. The footsteps are unbelievably loud (it sounds like someone hammering the floor above me), there are constant squeaking noises at night (probably from the bed), and very loud plumbing and flushing sounds. I often hear things dropping or furniture being moved. These noises happen from early morning until very late

Just moved out recently. They will definitely overcharge you for stupid stuff when it comes to your security deposit, so don’t expect to see the whole thing back. I’m talking things nobody ever charges for. Apartments aren’t supposed to charge for basic wear and tear things. And I cleaned my whole apartment well before I left. But if you miss a spot (especially in the sink, floor, shower, cabinets, microwave, etc) at all they WILL charge you. Also to add - if you have out of state plates, or want to use this as a secondary living space while your primary residence is in another state, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT register your car with the leasing office. They say your info stays with them, but they will definitely share it with the county, and then you can expect a property tax bill on your ca
