SCAM! I was looking for my first apartment as a college student and was hopeful when I came across Window Manor. Whenever I called the office to inquire about any questions I had about the apartment and renting, there was rarely an answer. Eventually a woman named Lisa called me back. Initially, she seemed extremely helpful and accommodating. Though communication was tough, I was able to eventually schedule a time for a tour. Though the man who gave me the tour was kind, he didn't seem to know much about the building. I had contacted Lisa about further questions I had after my tour regarding parking and when the major renovations, like the laundry area would be done and I never got a direct answer and was always told that they would get back to me. I went ahead paid the application fee for

DO NOT sign a lease with this property. We are currently on day 8 with no heat in the apartment and property management is not returning calls or addressing the issue. We had the exact same issue in the summer with the AC unit with over a week before that issue was addressed as well. KCMO Tenant assistance has had to get involved. Save yourself a lot of heartache and steer clear of this property.

Stayed here in a unit with AirBnB. The owner is an example of why communities do not want short-term rentals taking up affordable housing.

Wouldn’t ever recommend someone to stay here. In the last 12 months, we’ve been through 4 different property managements, which were all poorly managed. Utility bills changed often & they waited months to give me my bill so they all came at once, then I was rushed to pay the bill. DO NOT STAY HERE!
