Wilshire La Brea Apartments

I’ve been living at 5200 Wilshire / Wilshire La Brea Apartments for about a year, and I would like to share my very positive experience, especially working with Favian. From the very beginning, Favian helped me rent my apartment and made the entire process smooth, clear, and well organized. He is highly professional, attentive, and reliable. Whenever I had questions or needed assistance, he was always responsive and helpful, ensuring everything was handled efficiently. Overall, I am very happy living in this building and truly appreciate the support and professionalism Favian has shown throughout my time here. He is a great representative of the property, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone considering renting at this location.

I want to add to my review since I lived in these apartments for another six months after my previous feedback, and my negative experience has only grown. I feel it’s important to share this. First, constant loud construction work began near our apartment, making it unbearable to live there, and we received no compensation for the inconvenience. Second, they started demanding money from us without any clear explanation of what for. Terrible management team that ignores calls and requests, doing whatever they want. They charged us an outrageous fee upon move-out without any explanation. We left the apartment in the same condition as when we moved in and even recorded a video as proof. However, we received a bill for floor replacement and wall painting. No one is explaining why—just sendin

FILTH. Trash is routinely placed out in the hallway. Funny enough, I just walked past a literal TURD in the hallway today (hoping at least it was a dog). Elevators are always broken. Fire alarms work great though.

The BEST thing about living in this complex is Mirna! She not only keeps our place clean and organized, but she goes above and beyond helping others and myself. Her warm greetings and knowledge of the property makes all of our lives easier and better. Thank you for always working so hard for all of us. We appreciate you.

I had a horrible experience living in this building. It’s nearly impossible to get management’s attention — it feels like you could send up flares and still be ignored. Communication is minimal, maintenance requests go unanswered, and there’s no accountability for anything that happens here. Most of the neighbors aren’t actual residents since many units are run as year-round Airbnbs. The apartment across from mine was constantly rotating with different guests, creating a lot of noise and disruption. One day, there was a nude photoshoot on the balcony, completely visible to everyone in the courtyard. My underage cousin was visiting and was exposed to this, which is not only disturbing but illegal. When we reported it, management said there was “nothing they could do.” That was unacceptable
