Willowood Apartments

Renting here for 2 years, so far, and I am very satisfied with the management. New siding and new patio fencing. They have put a lot of effort into the buildings and grounds, and continue to do so. You also have the option to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Any maintenance issue I have had were resolved within 24 hours. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Neighbors are friendly, and I'm not even a people person.

Willowood Apartments is hands-down the worst place I have ever lived. Firstly - the bait and switch: Advertised a completely renovated and modern apartment on their website, but their units actually look closer to the 1970s in terms of appliances and aesthetics. Everything smells like mildew. Secondly - make sure you read your lease agreement, ALL of it. Even when you sign up for a year-lease, if you don't inform the manager that you're intending to move out at the end of the lease - they'll keep charging you until they re-rent it. What the actual hell? Absolutely the scummiest fine print I've ever read on any lease agreement. Do not stay here and do not give these slumlords your hard-earned money.

Good place to live for one person who doesn’t need much. The grounds are kept with nice trees throughout. Good fenced dog area. Other residents are great in my experience.

Poor maintenance and management. My mom recently sold her house and moved into this place. Within couple months they never came for any work orders. Went into house unannounced and then the problem was never fixed. All apartments were red tagged for failure to comply by inspection. Air never worked promised to fix it never did but be a day late on rent and the will boot ya, its obvious we are money not people to the management and owner

It was good at first. Then things just went down hill when new management came. Management changed a lot while i lived there. The neighbors were ridiculously noisy and i complained several times but nothing changed. In the studio apartment your air conditioning and heater is at the front of the apartment under the window. Its like a hotel room air conditioner. So basically all your heat or all your cold air goes straight outside. A shooting happened right across the parking lot at an apartment and the man came to my door for help. I had my newborn son in the apartment and when we called the police they made us all evacuate my apartment. Stink bugs galore! I have no idea how the stink bugs got in, but jesus did they ever. When i moved and took a poster down there was a flock of them hiding
